Mosley and Sons, Clydevale (winner holds cup for one year and receives gold medal). Most .points in butter, £1 Is, Mrs S. Moffat, Te Houkn. Most points in baking (open), £1 Is, Mrs W. Logie (Stirling). Most points in-baking (local), 10s 6d, Mrs W. Logie. Messrs Adam King and Sons’ trophy, value 3gs, most points butter and baking, Mrs A. Anderson, Stirling. Mr :W. S. Thomson’s cup, value lOgs. for most points in sheep, cattle, and horses, exhibitors to gain points in two sections, Jos, Mosley and Sons, Clydevale. „ SHEEP GUESSING.
The sheep-guessing competition conducted in conjunction with the show resulted in five (Messrs Jas. M‘Fetters, Tapanui; J. Watson, Gore; D. R. -Johnston, StOny Creek: E. M. Bishop, Balclutha; and .1. C. King, Stony Creek) guessing the correct weight, 82flb, and they divide the prize money (£3). Others who guessed close to the weight were R. Wilson, Stirling, 82jlb; S. P. Cameron. Dunedin. 82jlh; W. Tweed, 8231 b: R. D. Wiljocks, Balclutha, 831 b : and I. Mosley, Stirling, 821 b. On a check the gate takings were found to be £4 more than at first stated. The total was £166 17s 3d, compared with £162 16s 6d last ybar—an increase of £4 Os 9d.
