GERMANY'S ATTEMPTS HEW METHOD FOUND Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright. BERLIN, November 28. (Received November 29, at 10 a.m.) Professor Übbelhohde' admits that the German attempts to manufacture wool substitute from artificial silk have proved unsatisfactory, but a new method has been found of reinforcing artificial silk threads with flax, which will be grown on a huge scale in Germany.
