WANGANUI CREW RETURNS

[Per United Press Association.] AUCKLAND, November 17. The Wanganui rowing crew which competed at the Melbourne regatta returned by the Mariposa to-day. Mr E. J. Crolty, the manager, said the New- Zealand crews could hold their own against any Australian crew. The Wanganui crew had won the Kerr Uup outright at the Sydney Rowing Club regatta, and also nine miniatures at various', contests. .He congratulated Mr W. Coombes, die coach, on his work.
