TRAMWAY RETURNS
INCREASE IN REVENUE The tramway manager’s statement of the traffic returns for the past fortnightly period, as compared with the corresponding period of last year, shows an increase in revenue for the period of £l3. The increase in revenue for the period from April 1 to November 10 (thirty-two weeks) is £963, or 1.02 per cent. The revenue and expenditure statement for the first twenty-eight weeks of the present yeaf indicates a decrease in the surplus, as compared with the corresponding period of last year, of £1,274.
