The International Metal Workers' Congress, -representing 700,000 men, unanimously passed a resolution in favour of the disarmament of all nations and the League’s consideration of the control of production and export of munitions. A resolution was also passed suggesting that affiliated organisations should concentrate against Fascism. Mr 11. Dennison, on behalf of the British delegates, urged that the moment war seemed inevitable a congress should be called to. consider whether metal workers would make munitions.
