THE BRITISH ASSOCIATION ANNUAL CONFERENCE NEXT MONTH. (British Official Wireless.) Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright RUGBY, August 27. The British Association for the Advancement of Science, which will hold ita annual meeting at Aberystwyth next month, at which most of Britain’s best-known scientists, as well as many distinguished foreign visitors, will be present, is expected to produce practical contributions towards a solution of many modern problems. Last year’s association ’ formed committees to investigate such subjects as noise, water supplies, and various aspects of wireless telephony, and the results of the researches made are to be announced at Aberystwyth.
