It commences with the choir contest between the St. Clair Presbyterian Church Choir and the United Congregational Church Choir, and in this section alone patrons should hear some excellent singing. This will be followed by the half-hour entertainments (dramatic section) by the W.E.A. arts class in ‘ Allison Lad,’ the W.E.A. drama class in ‘ The Man Who Would Not Go to Heaven,’ and the Good Companions in ‘ The Man in the Bowler Hat.’ There will also be the vocal solo for ladies (operatic air and ballad).. . By special request Mr J. W. Bailey, the elocution judge, will give impersonations of ‘ People I Have Met,’ and this should prove a most delightful innovation.
To-morrow morning the recitation for boys (10 and under) will be taken in His Majesty’s Theatre and in the afternoon a special children’s matinee will be held. , ,
