An epidemic of burglaries took place at Kelburn over the week-end. a grocer’s shop in Upland road and three private houses in Raroa road being visited. ' P. R. Haaelwood, grocer, had £l4O taken from a safe, and a small motor car was stolen from Glen road, but was recovered undamaged. Yesterday, houses were visited and ransacked and.small sums of money taken.
