Bronze images of Hachiko, “ the dog that cannot forget,” are to be presented to the Emperor and Empress of Japan and the Dowager Empress. Sachiko used to escort his master to and from Shibuya'Station, Tokio, every day. Sovei-I years ago the man died, but Hachiko still walks to the station every morning and waits expectantly every night. His faithfulness lias become famous throughout Japan, and a “ Committee for construction of Haehiko’s bronze images” has been' formed.
