R.S.A. SMALL BORE RIFLE CLUB
The weekly shoot of the Returned Soldiers’ Small Bore Rifle Club on Monday evening last was well attended, and members put m some good Practice in view of the club match shoots which commence next week. A seithandicap match concluded the evening s shooting, C. James (a new member) and T S Menzies tieing for first place. The shoot-off will bo fired next week. The scores in the self-handicaps were as follow (with handicaps! :-T.Menzies 80, C. James 80. J. M Kee /9, D. Man 79. J. Potter 78, W. Meikle 77. T). Rowntree 77, M. Harvey /6, S. Ewens 76. O. Holden 75. D. Goudie 75, J Judson 74, G. Ferens 74, R. Bowie 74 J. Harrison 73. Judson, jum, 63. Next week the first shoot of the club championship and club handicap senes will be fired, also a start will be made on the “ bull’s-eyecompetition. .A club committee meeting will be held bn the range before the shooting commences. , , Several novelty competitions will be arranged for the'season’s .syllabus.
