THE RANFURLY SHIELD [Feb United Frees Association.] CHRISTCHURCH, May 1. The motion passed by the Canterbury Rugby Union a fortnight ago that tho Ranfurly Shield would not be taken on tour this season was rescinded at a meeting of the Management Committee of the union to-night after discussion in committee. It was announced that the question whether the shield would ho taken on tour or not would ho reconsidered on July 31.
