EX-SOLDIERS' INTERESTS
SECRETARY TO TOUR CENTRAL OTAGO
To maintain interest in the work of the Dunedin Returned Soldiers’ Association, the secretary (Mr 0. L. Ferens) will leave to-morrow morning on a tour of Central Otago. Meeting! will be held at various centres with tlia local committees and ex-servicemen to discuss poppy day organisation and other matters affecting the welfare of, returned men. At Omakau a meeting will be held for the purpose of forming a local committee, there , being many returne' men in that district not members of the association. The itinerary of the Central tour is as follows: Thursday, February 8, Middlemarch j Friday, February 9, Ranfurly, Saturday, February 10, Clyde; Monday, February 12, Omakau; Tuesday, February 13, Cromwell; Wednesday, Feb. ruary 14, Arrowtown; Thursday, February 15, Queenstown; Friday, February 16, Saturday, February 17, and Monday, February 19, Pembroke, Tarras, etc.; Tuesday. February 20, Alexandra; Wednesday, February 21, Roxburgh; Thursday, February 22, Lawrence and .Waitahuna.
