NEW ZEALAND AND AUSTRALIA FEDERAL MINISTER IN WELLINGTON [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, February 1. With, the object of discussing trada relations between Australia and New Zealand the Hon. F. H. Stewart (Federal Minister of Industries and Commerce) arrived to-day, and during the morning commenced negotiations with. the. Hon. R. Masters (Minister of Industries and Commerce). The principal report on which Australia desires a concession is the removal of New, Zealand’s partial embargo on Australian citrus fruit, while from the New Zealand angle it is expected that Mr Masters will urge the lifting of tha Australian restrictions on the importation of New Zealand potatoes. Minor matters connected with tha operation, of last year’s reciprocal trade treaty with the Commonwealth are also likely to be raised.
