[Per United Press Association.] NEW PLYMOUTH, January 26. Rangitikei began a Hawke Cup cricket match against Taranaki in foggy weather, and the side was all out for 112 soon after lunch. Taranaki, with the ball becoming more difficult to handle, made 184 for four wickets. Biggar’s wicketkeeping for Taranaki was remarkable, the only extra being a noball. Biggar took throe fine catches, including one far out on the log side. For Rangitikei, Wysochi scored 39 not out. Parkinson was the most successful <howlor, taking six for 40. - For Taranaki. W. Barker scored 30, H. Barker 19, and Betts 41.
