(Received January 27, at 1 a.m.) At a luncheon aboard the Maloja the Governor, (Sir Philip Game) expressed pleasure at the forthcoming visit of Prince George. His; Excellency said he was convinced that Australia would overwhelmingly show its appreciation of the King’s action in endorsing the visit. ARRANGING THE VISIT. SYDNEY, January 27. (Received January 27, at 11 a.m.) The Minister of Health (Mr C. W. Marr) has been appointed to co-oper-ate in arranging the programme of Prince George’s tour on behalf of the Commonwealth. The ‘ Herald ’ says that an important point to be settled is the State which Prince George shall first visit, Victoria, naturally desires the Prince to first land at Melbourne. On the other hand/ if the Prince proceeds to New Zealand from Australia it will involve much additional expenditure of time and money if he were first to visit Victoria, then retrace his steps to Western Australia.'
