The fortnightly meeting of Court Excelsior, A.O.F ~ was held in St, Mary’s Hall, Durham street. The chief ranger (Bro. G. D. Hay) presided over a fairly large attendance of members. The woodward reported on the sick, and letters conveying seasonal greetings were received. Arrangements for the anniversary meeting to be held on January 30 were completed by the Social Committee. During the meeting Bro. S. Wood, on behalf of the auditors, presented the half-yearly bal-ance-sheet, which disclosed the court’s funds to be in a good position, and despite the strenuous year the membership had increased—a very satisfactory state considering the conditions. One now proposition for membership was received.
