At Albert Hall,in a fifteen-round contest for the British light-weight championship Harry Mizler, an East Ender, outpointed the holder, Johnny Cuthbert. In a six-round contest Jack Grant (London) defeated Desmond Jeans, the referee stopping the bout in the last round to save Jeans further punishment.
