CIVIL SERVICE MEET At the Civil Service Harrier and Amateur Athletic Club championships on Tuesday night at the Caledonian Ground, the New Zealand mile champion, J. G. Barnes, who has not yet reached form, was beaten in the mile by L. C M'Lachlan, ex-New Zealand half-mile champion. The results of the events were:— 220 YARDS CHAMPIONSHIP.
