PASSENGERS SUFFOCATED
A TERRIBLE JUNK JOURNEY Press Association—By Telegraph--Copyrigbt. SINGAPORE, January 16. (Received January 17, at 12.35 p.m.) Twenty-eight passengers out of 200 were suffocated in a terrible journey by junk from Hainan. They belonged to a vessel which foundered off Cherjbon in a heavy storm. Stragglers are arriving in Singapore. They may be sent back to China.
