COMMUNITY SINGING
At the weekly community singing at the Octagon Theatre to-morrow Miss Julie Russell (vocalist) will assist the Central Mission’s effort to raise funds for Christmas cheer for needy children, who are to he given the benefit of a healthy holiday at the mission’s homo down the harboiirside. Another round of bright, inspiriting choruses is prom* ised, under the leadership of the Rev,Leslie B. Neale and Mr W. R. Sinclair, with Mr A. Pettitt at the piano. Variety will be lent to the hour by an illustration of the genuine clog dance, in costume, by Mr A. Turnbull, and an acrobatic specialty by little Irehe Scott. Mr Frank Cawley will as, sist with an organ solo, and the Rev, Leslie B. Neale has been asked to sing again. Listeners-in are invited to cooperate in this charitable effort, tele, phones 13-091 and 18-844 being available for the purpose.
