TOUR OF FRAUD ENDS IN GAOL 1 [Per United Press Association.] ROTORUA, September 7.-\te An. Habitual criminal, Robert JamesBrydon (fifty-five years) pleaded guilty before the Police Court to-day to nine , charges of issuing valueless cheques, obtaining' credit by fraud, at Rotorua, Hamilton, and Ngaruawahia. He was sentenced to nine months by the magistrate. The police stated that accused stole a cheque book at Dargaville, and started a career of false pretences.Rotorua boarding houses were victimised. His previous (concurrent) sentences totalled twenty-four years in a period of thirty-eight years.
