HIGH COMMISSIONER'S WORK PRAISED
[Pm United Press Association.*) CHRISTCHURCH, June 1. Commendation of the publicity work carried out in Britain, during recent mouths by the New Zealand High Commissioner and his staff was expressed to-night by the Council of the Canterbury Chamber of Commerce. The following resolution was carried * “ The council observes with pleasure the excellent publicity campaign being conducted in Britain by Sir Thomas Wilford, High Commissioner, and Mr IT. T. Drew, publicity officer, to promote an increase in the retail sales ot New Zealand produce. It congratulates and thanks them for the organisation of this very fine and timely work in the interests of the dominion, and hopes that the Government will give them every encouragement and assistance.”
