Tom Pinch and Kichaka led Captivation into the straight. The last named gained off Kichaka, winning by half a head, the third horse half a neck away, with Tom Pinch fourth. Time, linin 15sec. The stewards found J. Coutts, rider of Tim Pinch, .blameworthy for interference suffered by N.E.F. Coutts was

suspended for three months for carelessness.
