WAR DEBTS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —I heartily agree with your correspondent “ H.C.” in reference to war debts. The vital question is Are the Government and Cabinet our servants or our masters? Apparently they are the latter. If we repay the loan to Britain now the mass of the people will be still further paupered. Those in good jobs like the Prime Minister’s can comfortably wait and see, but' what about the* increased misery of the masses? — I am, etc.. Radical, December 21.
