FORBURY PARK TROTS

TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —As a patron of the Fqrbury Park Trotting Club last meeting I think that it is high time that the stewards were strickter in their movements. With reference to the last race the public should demand an explanation through your correspondence column from the club’s starter. When the barrier was released half the horses were facing in the opposite direction. It looked as if the club was trying to stage a mystery race. I hope that the starter will improve by the time the Dunedin Trotting Cup comes round.— I am., etc., Disgusted Patron. December 13.
