BIG BILLIARDS. LONDON, December 13.—Much interest is being displayed in the billiards test. The spectators were thrilled at seeing the “ big four ” in action. The totals at the cud of the second day's- play were: Australia and New Zealand 5,213, England -1,831. During the afternoon session Lindrnm playing against Davis scored 1,009, while the latter scored 315. Newman playing against AFConachy scored 812, while the New Zealander scored ■llO. At the evening session Lindrurn scored G 92 and Davis 534. AT'Conachy scored 726 (including 422 unfinished) and Newman 400.

UNEMPLOYMENT FUND. The acting Minister of Employment, Hon. A.
