SURPLUS FARM PRODUCTS

MAKING PLANS FOB DISPOSAL Pros* Association—By Telegraph- Copyright. WASHINGTON, September 26. Representatives of the Federal Farm Board and the Reconstruction Finance Corporation held a conference with President Hoover and the Secretary of Agriculture (Mr Hyde) at White House to-day, and discussed plans for the export of surplus farm products. The first project under consideration was China’s bid for 15,000,000 bushels of wheat on credit, the fulfilment of which would require the purchase of some wheat by the board, as the stocks are insufficient. This, it is believed, would force the domestic price of wheat up sharply, possibly as much as ton cents a bushel.
