It is understood that a discussion is pending between the Samuel and the Simon sections of the _ Liberals, suggesting closer co-operafion. The issue will be whether Sir John Simon and his colleagues approve of the resignations of the Liberal Ministers, or, alternatively, whether they will identify themselves more closely with the Government.
