Rose, whose appointment as solicitor to tho Treasury was recently announced. Air Cole was in private practice in Dunedin before joining the Public Trust as assistant solicitor ten years ago. Since 1927 ho has been solicitor to tho Rural Intermediate Credit Board. New guests at the Grand Hotel include Air Walter Studer (Zurich < Switzerland). Air H. A. Lawrence (Auckland), Alessrs G. G. Callendeii and T. F. G. Wise (Wellington),, and H. J. Nun week and J. S. Radley (Christchurch). Air H. Newson (Christchurch), Air F. J. Robertson (Timaru), Airs and Aliss Bliss (Pukepito), and Air and Mrs J. A. Broom (Winton) have booked at tho City Hotel.
