At First Church the Rev. W. Allen Stevely will preach in the morning on ‘ One of God's Good Gifts.’ At the evening service his subject will be ‘ Music and Faith,’ and the choir will sing the portion of Mendelssohn's ‘ St. Paul ’ dealing with the martyrdom of Stephen. The soloists will be Miss Evelyn Shepard and Mr Alfred Walrasley. Dr Galway will be at the organ. Rev. D. C. Herron will conduct services in Knox Church, when the Sacrament of the Lord’s Supper will be dispensed. The subject of the evening sermon will be ‘ The Man Who Stopped Halfway.’ Retiring offerings will be received for Knox social workers’ fund. The Rev. Thomas Miller will be the preacher in St. Stephen’s Church. Communion service in the morning. Church anniversary services will bo held in Trinity Methodist Church, Stuart street. The Rev". E. T. Cox will be the preacher in the morning, and the Rev. Dr S. F. Hunter in the evening. In the morning Mendelssohn's ’ I Waited for the Lord ’ will be rendered. Misses E. Shepard and P. West acting as soloists, and in the evening the choir will sing Mozart’s ‘ Gloria ’ and ’The Heavens are Telling,’ Miss P. West and Messrs J. Simpson and W. Gamble taking the solos. Miss Mae Matheson and Mr George Crawford will also sing special solos. The anniversary festival will be held next Thursday. The Rev. Leslie B. Neale will be the preacher at the Methodist, Central Mission. In the evening he will preach on ' The Sign on the Horizon.’ The soloist will be Mrs George Scott, who will sing In the Garden.' , Anniversary services will be held at St. Hilda Methodist Church, when Rev. G. E. Brown will preach in the morning on ‘ The Open Window,’ and the Rev. Percy Pans in the evening on ' The Parable of the Spreading Waters.’ Mr Ernest Paris will sing ’ Wher’er You Walk ’ (Handel). The anthems will be ' Come, Bet Us Join (Lerbales tier), ‘ All in the April Evening ’ (Robertson), and ‘Thanks Be Unto God (Mendelssohn). The services at Dundas street will be conducted bv Rev. Anstice will be the speaker at the Sunshine Baptist Mission in the services at the Moray Place Congregational Church. The choir will render the anthem ‘ Hymn to the Homeland.’ At the United Congregational Church, Mbany street, in the morning, the Rev. James M. Smooth will speak to the children about ‘ A Great Money Box.’ His subject for the adults will be ‘ This Perfect Soundness.’ In the evening he will speak on A Judge’s Estimate of Jesus.’ At. the Salvation Army Citadel, Dowling street, the services will be conducted by Adjutant Tong, who will give the address in the morning and the evening. Sergeant Neilson will speak at the afternoon service. ’ Stepping Stones to Spiritualism ’ is the title of an address by “Observer ’ at the Spiritualist Church in the evening.
