SHIP'S CAPTAIN NONOUNED SILVER MEDAL AND CHEQUE* Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright, LONDON, April 30. The chairman of Lloyd’s presented the silver medal-for meritorious services to Captain William Gilling, of the motor ship Port Premantle, for his services during l a fire while the vessel was loading at Wanganui in January* He also presented bun with a cheque of £IOO, his share of the sum which the owners and underwriters subscribed for the officers and crew. v -
