Dr Vere Poliss, Ph. D., the English lecturer, delivered another of her inspiring addresses on Saturday evening in the Y.M.C.A; Hall, entitled ‘ The Law of Abundance and How to Use It.’ Through our own thinking, Dr Poliss said, the conditions of the past were brought about. The Creator in the beginning of the world pronounced everything good, but man, by his thoughts had brought everything as it was today. If each ( individual ceased talking and thinking depression there would bo none. There’s something to be said in favour of saddling future generations with part of our financial load in the shape of long-term bonds.
