ARRIVED.—ApriI 13. Wainui, s.s. (3.40 p.m.), 1,G33 tons, Briscoe, for Melbourne via ports. The Kiui sailed early this afternoon to discharge the rest of her coal cargo at Miramar. Tho Waipiata, from Auckland via ports, came in this afternoon to discharge cargo. She is to sail at 6 o’clock to-night for Bluff, and is to return to this port in time to load out on Monday for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Through being delayed by the head wind tho Opihi is not now expected hero from Wellington until 10 p.m. She, is to load and sail to-morrow for Wellington, Nelson, and Now Plymouth via way ports. The Gale loft this afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Wanganui. It was expected that the John, from Wellington, would reach Dunedin this afternoon. An endeavour is to be made to despatch her for Timaru, New Plymouth, and Waikato to-night. THJC FERRY SERVICE. The Rangatira, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 this morning, and passengers and mails connected with the express for the south. RANGITIKI LEAVES COLON. Eu route from AVellington to London, the New Zealand Shipping Company’s motor liner Rangitiki sailed from Colon on Tuesday last. She left Wellington on March 24. lONIC’S MOVEMENTS. Tho Shaw, Savill liner lonic arrived at Wellington this morning from Auckland in continuation of her voyage from London. She is next to load at Bluff, Port Chalmers, and Wellington, being due at Port Chalmers about April 24, and scheduled to leave Wellington on May 4 for Southampton and London. KIA ORA FOR HERE. The S.S. and A. Company advises that the Kia Ora was expected to leave Bluff this afternoon for Port Chalmers, whore she is duo to-morrow morning to take on cargo. Sho completes loading at Wellington, and is to leave there on April 28 for London via Cape Horn. WIRRAL DUE. Sailing from Lyttelton for Dunedin yesterday afternoon, tho steamer Wirral, with cargo from New York on hoard, was expected to arrive at Dunedin this afternoon to discharge part of the merchandise. Sho also carries sulphur from Galveston, Port Neelies, and Port Arthur, Texas, and this will bo put off at Ravensbourne. PORT DUNEDIN LEAVES PANAMA. Eu route from London the Port Dunedin sailed from Panama on Sunday. Sho is due at Wellington on May 1. CANA I)L\N~CHALLEN6ER LEAVES PANAMA. Tho Canadian Challenger, en route from Halifax, arrived at Panama on April 6, and sailed again the same day in continuation of her voyage. Sho is due at Auckland about May 2. THE CANADI . HIGHLANDER. The Canadian Highlander, which left Dunedin on February 22 for Ncw_York, Boston, and Halifax via Australia, arrived at Panama on Friday, and sailed again the same day in continuation of her voyage. CADETS WIN BOAT RACE. At Wellington on Wednesday a ship’s boat race was held between crews representing H.M.S. Diomede and the cadets of the Federal liner, Cornwall.
