ATHLETIC PRELIMINARIES. Owing to the large number of entries the Sports Committee of the Otago Amateur Athletic Association has decided that it will be necessary to stage the junior broad jump championship preliminaries at Cansbrook to-night. The members of the New Zealand test team, with the exception of Cleverley and Weir, have assembled here, and will have practice this afternoon.
