ENGLISH TEAM'S TOUR

NOT TO VISIT NEW ZEALAND SYDNEY, January 6. The programme of the next English cricket tour of Australia has been completed, and only awaits ratification by the Marylebone Club. Recently the Marylebone Club asked that the Australian tour be curtailed to allow the English team to visit New Zealand, but this was refused by tho Australian Board.

The itinerary is as follows:—October 20-22, v, Australia, at Perth; October 28-November 1, South Australia, at Adelaide; November 4-9,' v. Victoria, at Melbourne; November 11-15, v. an Australian eleven, at Melbourne; November 18-22, v. New South Wales, at Sydney; November 25, until finished, first test, at Sydney; December 3-5, Southern Districts of New South Wales, at Wagga; December 7-8, at Geelong; December 10-12, at Ballarat; December 16, until finished, second test, at Adelaide ; December 26-27, at Bendigo; December 29, until finished, third test, at Melbourne; January 7-10,. Country Districts, at Newcastle; J anuary 13-17, Queensland, at Brisbane; January 20, until finished, fourth test, at Brisbane; January 28-31, Country Districts of Queensland, at Toowoomba; February 3-7, against New South Wales, at Sydney; February 10, until finished, fifth test, at Sydney; February 21-23, Tasmania, at Launceston; February 25-26, Tasmania, at Hobart; March 3-7, Victoria, at Melbourne; March 10-14, South Australia, at Adelaide; March 23-25, v. Combined team, at Perth.
