YOUTH KILLED AT STREET CRICKET. As the result of striking his head on a box that was in use as a wicket in a game of cricket in an Auckland suburban street, Alfred Arnold Hows,- - aged eighteen, was killed last evening. The deceased was one of several youths playing cricket. He was running whenlie stumbled and fell, striking his head on the edge of the box. He was dead when the ambulance arrived. A ROADMAN’S' DEATH. The inquest on Christopher Collins* aged 55, a roadman. Who was found dead in bed at the camp at Hangaroa, was adjourned for medical' evidence.: His mate testified that the deceased had apparently been in good health till the night before his death.
