TRAIN WRECKING ATTEMPTED A NARROW ESCAPE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. DELHI, December 18. An attempt to wreck the Debra Dun express was foiled by a signal repairman ten minutes before the express was due near Stiarampur, in Bengal. A number of fishplates and bolts bad been removed from a rail with the intention of causing the train to run straight into the bank of a cutting. It is suspected that a terrorist outrage was intended. A parcels express train was derailed near Bombay, and a railwayman was killed and four passengers were hurt. The cause is not known.
