To-morrow morning the Breeze is duo hero from Wellington, and sails on Monday for the north. ■ Auckland cargo was being discharged to-day by the Wingatui, which was timed to sail at 4 o’clock for Bluff, and return hero on Tuesday to load for Timarn, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Tho Union Company’s tanker Otokia, : having completed tho discharge of her : fuel oil cargo from San Pedro, left last evening for Auckland, where she J is due, on Friday to be docked for I overhaul. 1 Tho Holmdale is duo at Dunedin on t Monday from Wellington to discharge 1 and load general cargo. She is timed . to sail on Monday night for Wellington and via ports. Tho Mamma arrived at Auckland on Tuesday morning from Sydney with passengers, mail, and cargo.. The vessel was timed to sail on her return trip to Sydney this afternoon. Tho Union Company’s Tofua, from Suva, reached Auckland last Monday evening. She is timed to leave Auck--1 land on Monday for Fiji, Tonga, and Samoa., ' • Tho Federal steamer Middlesex reached Auckland on Sunday from Tokomaru Bay to complete her Homeward loading. She is scheduled to clear the northern port to-morrow for London, Avonmouth, Liverpool, and Glasgow via the Panama. Canal. Advice has been received that the New Zealand portion of the Swedish steamer Tolken’s Pacific Coast cargo, with the exception of the case oil, was transhipped to tho Ulimaroa and Marama. The Ulimaroa arrived at Wellington and the Marama at Auckland on Tuesday from Sydney, The case oil portion of the Tolken’s cargo is being transhipped into the Port Waikato, which is to leave Sydney to-day for Now Zealand ports. Tho Timaru dredge came out.of dock at Port Chalmers to-day, and moved to tho sheer-legs to have her heavy lift gear readjusted. She sails next week for Timarn. THE FERRY SERVICE. The Wahiiio, from Wellington, arrived at Lyttelton at 6.45 a.m. to-day, and passengers and mails connected with tho express for the south. THE CANADIAN CHALLENGER. . Tho Canadian Challenger, en roiite from New York via Gulf Mexico ports, arrived at Panama on November i 18, and sailed on November 19 in coni tarnation of her voyage to New Zealand. She is due at Auckland on December 16. ' CITY OF DUNKIRK LEAVES NEW YORK. The City of Dunkirk sailed from New York on November 22 for New [ Zealand via Gulf of Mexico ports. She is duo at Auckland on January 5. PORT DUNEDIN REPORTS. i Tho C. and D. Line has received a wireless message from its motor ship Port Dunedin, cn route from New ’ York, reporting that she expects to reach Auckland on Sunday afternoon. She will later proceed _to Wellington. Lyttelton, and Dunedin to complete discharge. > NOTICE TO MARINERS. d [ Tho Marino Department has notified mariners that 11.M.5. RARANGA’S ALTERED ITINERARY Tho Shaw, Savill Company advises that the Raranga, at present en route from London in ballast, is now due at Bluff on December 6, instead of at New Plymouth, to commence her Homeward loading. She will later complete at Now Plymouth, Auckland, Wellington, and Lyttelton. Tho vessel is due at Wellington on December 21, and is scheduled to dear Lyttelton finally on December 30 for London via the Panama Canal and Kingston. THE HTNEMOA. If the former Government steamer Hinemoa enters the ferry service between the Bluff and Stewart Island for the summer season, she will be easily the largest vessel that has been engaged on the run. A representative of Stewart Island on the Southland League said last week that it was hoped the Hinemoa would commence running to Stewart Island about December 5, and would continue until after Easter. He said that the insurance, docking, and survey costs alone would amount to £SOO. RUAHINE’S PASSENGERS. The Ruahine, which left Wellington yesterday for London via Panama and Curapao, took the following saloon passengers:—First saloon: Mr I. Brown, Mrs M. Brown, Mr W. J. Carfrae. Mrs 'M. G. Moore, Mr D. H.. S. Riddiford, Mrs Riddiford, Miss R. M. Riddiford, Miss P. T. Riddiford. Second saloon: Mrs L. M. Burrough, Miss K. A. Burrough Mr W. H. Cook, Mrs Cook, Miss E. A. Edwards; and thirty-eight third class. WAIKOUAITI DUE FRIDAY. The Union Steam Ship Company has been advised that tho Waikouaiti will leave Sydney to-morrow afternoon for Bluff, Dunedin,. Lyttelton, and Timaru.' The vessel is due at this port next Friday. PACIFIC COAST CARGO. ■Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. advise that the Golden Coast, which arrived at Auckland yesterday afternoon, has general cargo for discharge at Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin, Melbourne, and Sydney. She is due at this port about Sunday week (December 6). NEWTON ELM IN PORT. The steamer Newton Elm arrived at Ravonsbourne this morning from S[akatea Island to discharge the remainder of her phosphate cargo. The vessel has also discharged at Auckland and Lyttelton, 3,800 tons being the portion for tho Queen City. The Newton Elm left Makatea Island on November 0, and a few days out experienced heavy sens with a strong south-easterly wind. Speed was reduced for .about twentyfour hours. At times the decks were awash, but no damage was done. Messrs H. L. Tapley and Co. aro tho local agents. SONOMA AT AUCKLAND. The Matson Line steamer Sonoma, from San Francisco via Honolulu, Pago Pago, and Suva, left the latter port on Monday for Auckland and Sydney, and arrived in New Zealand this morning. PORT DUNEDIN RADIOS. Messrs J. W. Swift ami Co. advise that the Commonwealth and Dominion Lino steamer Port Dunedin has sent out a wireless message stating that she expects to arrive at Auckland on Sunday from New York. The vessel calls at Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and is due here on December 5 to complete discharge. She then proceeds to New Plymouth to commence homeward loading, thence to Wellington Gisborne, Napier, and Lyttelton, sailing finally from the Canterbury port on December 24 for London via Cape Horn.
