(Received November 24, at 11.30 a.m.) The Premier (Sir James Mitchell) said lie believed there would bo a big vote for secession from the Commonwealth. The carrying of a referendum would not mean secession, but the British Parliament could amend the Australian Constitution, excluding Western Australia if that State could prove that injustice had been done to it.
