TAKING THE CENSUS
DEFAULTING ENUMERATORS Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, May 1. The Registrar-General reveals that of the 40,000 enumerators who are employed in taking the census, including 12,000 unemployed, 2,000 defaulted, some in the middle of their work, without explanation. The prosecution of the worst offenders is contemplated.
