Clyncs (Home Secretary), replying to a question as to whether the police procedure," as a result of the recent commission’s report, was hampering Scotland Yard’s investigation of murders, of which many had recently remained unsolved, said he would not entertain any suggestion that it should be abrogated. So far as he was aware the commission’s recommendations had not'hampered investigations in a single case. .
