BOMB FACTORY IN DELHI FOUR ARRESTS MADE Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright. DELHI, November 5. The police have discovered a bomb factory, with 500 bombs, baskets of chemicals, and pistols, in the house of Kapurchand Jain, in Delhi. Four arrests have been made. The police found in Jain’s possession a copy of a pledge which enjoins members of the conspiracy to shoot none but policemen. Jain also possessed a list of police all over Delhi. DISTURBANCES AT KARACHI POLICE STONED BY CROWD. DELHI, November 6. There were disturbances at Karachi when the police arrested men who were picketing the liquor shops. The police were stoned by a crowd of 3,000. They then charged with batons, and many of the rioters were injured. “ Gandhi Day” was celebrated throughout the city, the shops being closed and the schools picketed. A boy who was attempting to hoist the Nationalist flag above the Legislative Council was arrested and the flag was confiscated. The Police Commissioner at Karachi and two sub-inspectors have been warned to leave the city within a week, otherwise they will be killed by bombs. STUDENT KILLED AT LAHORE DELHI, November 6. The police surrounded a house a mile outside Lahore. Three men ran out, firing revolvers, and the police retaliated, killing one and injuring another. The man who was killed has been identified as a student who was suspected of being concerned in an attempt to wreck the Viceroy’s train last year.
