CANADIAN WHEAT
COMPULSORY MARKETING FAVOURED OTTAWA, November 5. (Received November 0, at 10 a.m.) A report from Winnipeg, states that the Manitoba Wheat Pool convention adopted a resolution urging tho Government to enact legislation for compulsory wheat marketing through the pool. The need of immediate action against the “ independents ” was stressed. An alternative suggestion was a Government board to merchandise all grain, as in the war time.
