WOMEN MEMBERS OF CONGRESS SENTENCES PASSED. Press Association—ByTelegrapli—Copjnjlit DELHI, November 5. Mrs Sen Gupta, wife of an cx-Mayor of Calcutta, was sentenced to four months’ simple inprisonraent for being a member of an unlawful assembly at New Delhi. Mrs Ucdi was sentenced to six months’ imprisonment, and Mrs Jairahi was fined £ls, while twentyfive Gurkhas were sentenced to six months’ imprisonment for a similar offence at New Delhi.
