OTAGO ASSOCIATION'S RESOLUTION

At a meeting of the Otago Wrestling Association last night a resolution was adopted as follows:—“That in view of the unsatisfactory position relating to the two wrestling associations operating both in Wellington and Auckland, which is not in the best interests of the sport, redoubled efforts be made to secure recognition by special Order in Council for dominion control by the Dominion of New Zealand Wrestling Union, and that Hie union take immediate steps to finalise matters.” The opinion was also expressed that all of the affiliated associations should he asked to take steps to send representatives to a conference to bo held at Wellington at an early date. There are eighteen or nineteen associations affiliated to the Dominion Union, and only two outstanding.
