MINIATURE RIFLE SHOOTING
A splendid attendance of members was on the range on Monday evening, when the; Returned Soldiers’ Miniature Rifle Club fired the concluding rounds in the Marr Handicap. Of a total cf sixteen competitors no less than nine qualified for the second round. Handicaps were halved, and five shots only were fired for the third round, which concluded with the following to codr pete in the fourth round:—M. Harvey# S. Ewens, and W. Meikle. The fourth round saw, Meikle dropped, leaving Harvey and Ewens to shoot it out shot for shot fbr the final, the final placings being:—M. Harvey 1. S. Ewens 2, W. Meikle; S. The handicap button was also won'by M. Harvey. Nest Monday the R.S. team will meet the R.N.V.R. The following will represent the: former :—D. Marti ■J. Jndson, J. M‘Kee, D. M‘Kay, H. A. Edmonds, R.
