THE SHARE MARKET DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE. Shares in the Waihi Gold Company have come into notice during the last few days, and sales were made on the Stock Exchange this morning at 14s lid and 15s. Bank of New Zealands were wanted at £2 16s, with a seller quoting £2 16s 6d. There was a buyer for Union Banks at £lO, but the lowest seller asked £lO ss. National Insurances were available at 14s, and were wanted at 13s 9d. The Westport market remained unchanged, with a buyer at £1 9s 6d, and a seller at £1 10s 6d. There was a seller of Drug Company shares at £3 0s 6d, but no buyer quoted. Wilson’s Cements were asked for at £2, but were not on offer. There was a buyer of Waihis at 14e, and for Waihi Grand Junctions at 2e, with sellers at 15s 3d and 2s 4d respectively. There was inquiry for Mount Lyells at £l, the response being £1 0s 9d. Okaritos were available at 7s 6d, but no buyer quoted. Government tax-free debentures and stocks were asked for at par, but tho only parcel offered was one of 1938 Inscribed Stock at £IOO 10s. ■ Bales oh ’Change.—Waihi, 14s lid, 15s.
