NEW YORK, September 9. (Received September ID, at 10 a.m.) Chicago Wheat.—September, 82] cents per bushel; December, 88; March, 91£; May, 91 J. NOKOMAI SLUICING COMPANY. The annual report of the Nokomai Sluicing Co., Ltd., states that owing to the dry season experienced, the expectation of more speedily completing the paddocks had not been realised. The area of bottom cleared was threeeighths of an acre, resulting in a return of 6890 z 4dwt,. valued at £2,619. Negotiations with the Siamese Tin Syndicate, Ltd., of London, were still in abeyance, owing to no decision having been given by the Minister of Mines. This decision was expected daily, and until it was issued, negotiations were marking time. The final wash-up from the last paddock was 120 oz 15]dwt. The balanne-shect shows a balance of £12,880 2s 6d on the year’s work. LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd,., have received the following cable from London, dated September 9:—The list of arrivals for the wool sales closed on September 8. The quantities available are ns follows;—Australian, 50,500 bales; New Zealand, ,61,000 bales; Capo, 2,000 bales; South American, 17,500 bales; carry forward, 71,500 bales. Brokers expect to offer 187,800 bales. The following vessels have arrived in time for the sales:—Tairoa, Taranaki, Port Adelaide, Mahana, Norfolk, Karamoa, and Tamaroa.
