CLEANING MEN’S TIES
Men’s crepe do chine ties, silk blouses, and other fragile articles may be cleaned with a clean cloth which has been dipped in petrol and then aired in the sun. In ironing men’s crepe de chine ties, great care should be taken. They should be pressed under a damp cloth. The ironer should iron the tie from the ends, and work up towards the centre of the tie. If ironed in the manner described the tie will retain its shape and will not crease easily. Obdurate stains may bo removed by ruboing th- stain with a clean cloth which has boon dipped in eucalyptus oil. This will not harm the most delicate fabric.
