A. do la Perrelle) arrived at Rotorua at noon yesterday and inspected the,bath building and attended to matters in connection with his department. Ho left this morning for Auckland. ' ' • Mr J. R. Templin, of Christchurch, went'back to-day by train after" a business visit to Dunedin. Mr and bits W. J. Goughian started this, morning for Rotorua and Auckland. Several Otago " farmers who have booked for the Railway Department’s excursion to Australia travelled north by 'the through express to-day to join the Aorangi at Auckland, this contingent consisting of Mr A. Allison (Milton), and Mr and Mrs J. A. Edwards (Pukerau), A .Wellington Association message announces the death of Mr Robert Hannah, of R. Hannah and Co., boot manufacturers. .On Thursday evening, tho members of the Roslyn Presbyterian Choir entertained Mrs A. J. Tucker and Miss Mario Tucker, who are shortly leaving for Napier. The Rev, E. J. Tipler expressed his appreciation of tho services rendered. by both ladies, and Mr J.• Patersori (choirmaster), on behalf of tho choir members, presented each with, a gift. During the running of the dbg trials at P.almerston opportunity was taken to bid farewell to Mr S. T. Snnshall, who had filled the position of secretary to the Palmerston .Collie Club for tha past three years, and who left Palmerston : yesterday afternoon ,to take up a position in Taranaki. In the absence of the president of the club (Mr. J. Preston), the vice-president (Mr G. Roberts)" voiced "the regret of members at the departure of Mr Snushall, and expressed tho wish of all for his future happiness and prosperity. Mr George Ross also spoke. .
